Relationships

The Ship: Eddie is the computer of the ship Heart of Gold. Zaphod does not like him, but finds it too tiring to actively hate him, so settles for ignoring his every attempt at friendliness. In fact, this describes many of Zaphod's relationships.

Closest Friends: Zaphod is part of a group that is very, very close, much to his dismay. Like, insanely close. They include the rather depressed Everyman Arthur "Ardent" Dent (thelastearthman); his cousin/brother/drinking buddy from Betelgeuse, Ford Prefect (onehoopyprefect); his long-suffering girlfriend, astrophysicist Tricia "Trillian" McMillan (mctrillian), and most recently Arthur's soulmate and the listener of God's Last Message to His Creation, Fenchurch (flyingfen).

Other Friendpeople: Zaphod will talk to, drink with, or flirt at just about anyone. Recently he has discovered a soft spot for one Meg Giry, and is teaching her how to drink.
